Constants Like You
I once played a video game named Bioshock, with really fun gameplay and magnificent narrative and twists, it is a game I will hold dear for a very long time, not because of the aspects I mentioned, but because of its lessons, lessons like "Your part in the play or the play itself" which hints at the fact that all of us are destined for something greater, "Your worst enemy is yourself", and the line that hit me the most is when they were exploring knowledge about the multiple realities they would call the "multiverse", the main protagonist stated "Constants and Variables", being struck of this line, I paused the game and glared around my surroundings, contemplated, and it just shows that as the concept of change seem to engulf me in times, you are there, you will be there, you will always be there, to keep pushing me into the cruel winds of life.
Must there be a more beautiful, sympathetic, kind, and every other positive adjective you could think of, you carry them wherever you go. I believe that everybody in this world must value their mother in some way or another, because i believe it is only natural to. Mothers were made to be the most influential being in a person's life, similar to how they can give life, they have the power to control the perception of their off-springs, they have the power to create a world for their sons and daughters, a world which they would either love or hate, but most of the mothers I have witnessed show true and unconditional love and care for their children, these are mothers that dont go down easily ad they are proud to put their lives on the line just to prolong their loved one's, similar to mine who persevered through many hardships just to give me the air i breathe and life i currently enjoy.
People say the only constant in our life is death, it is not true in my case, for I have the gentlest and most caring being to have ever tread our vast world. Through mother's day celebrated in early may, we have a time to honor the never-detering value of moms around the world. Not only in Mother's day must I give you compliments, but I hope you can see how grateful I am in my eyes every time I look at your beauty. As the continuity of change fails to writhe, so will you Ma, love you lots.
