Respect and Honor, for the Fallen Noble

The only things that mattered in the world war II was the concept of Battle and the results of either a glorious victory or a painful defeat. From the blood thirsty invaders to the noble heroes that risk their  lives to serve as a bastion for their beloved nation. The invaders in this case are the Japanese Colonists
who paved their way to colonize us, the Filipinos. In the 9th of April of 1942, Japanese and Filipino Joint Forces, accepted defeat in a way of surrender, subsequent to this the surviving prisoners of war were forced to walk from Bataan to Pampanga (66km), it lasted from 5-10 days and the Japanese escorts offered no support to the survivors. This was known as the Bataan Death March where the death of thousands of Americans and Filipinos happened because of the severe maltreatment and inhumane conditions they were forced into.

This was truly a grueling part of history, just before after this the Filipinos decide to commemorate the fallen by what is known as the "Bataan Day" or the "Araw ng Kagitingan", this was done in order to pay respects to the unfortunate who fell into the hands of the Japanese Colonists. The fallen, died as our noble and exemplary protectors that day. Filipinos nowadays celebrate "Araw ng Kagitingan" by even conducting the trekking of long distances to simulate what the fallen experienced that day, some gooutside with their family and basically call the "Bataan Day" some sort of family day.

They obviously didn't deserve to pass in such a disrespectful and blatant way, this is why war is very unnecessary. In the battlefield there may be a victor, but they will carry the heavy-heavy burden of what they have slain on that day, violence breeds violence, the only way to end the chain of bloodlust is the display of affection for one another, until then true peace will emerge, no more wars, no more casualties, no more blood-spill.
